Finchoq Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing mentors, or booking sessions on Finchoq ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use Finchoq.

2. Description of Platform

Finchoq is a 1:1 mentorship marketplace that connects individuals seeking career and technical guidance ("Mentees") with experienced professionals willing to share knowledge ("Mentors"). Finchoq facilitates mentor discovery, real-time availability checking, booking management, and video session scheduling via integrated third-party calendar services.

3. Accounts & Mentor Verification

• Registration: Users may register as Mentees or apply to become Mentors. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during sign-up.
• Mentor Approval Gate: Submitting a Mentor profile does not automatically publish it. Finchoq reviews mentor applications prior to directory publication. Finchoq reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend mentor profiles at its discretion.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Booking & Cancellation Rules

• Scheduling: Mentorship sessions must be booked within a Mentor's published availability window.
• Mentee Cancellation: Mentees may cancel a booked session up to two (2) hours prior to the scheduled start time through their dashboard.
• Mentor Cancellation: Mentors may cancel sessions when necessary. Mentees will be automatically notified of any schedule changes or cancellations.
• Attendance: Users are expected to attend scheduled sessions on time. Repeated no-shows may lead to account review or restriction.

6. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

Finchoq is built on mutual respect and professional learning. Mentorship guidance provided on Finchoq is for educational and career development purposes only and does not constitute formal legal, financial, medical, or official employment advice.

Users agree NOT to:

• Engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior.
• Solicit paid services outside the platform or use sessions for spam, commercial sales, or deceptive practices.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Finchoq is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Finchoq does not guarantee specific career outcomes, job placements, or financial gains resulting from mentorship sessions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finchoq shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
